Thomas Gage has worked in a range of industries from large corporations to running successful startups. Over the last 12 years at AutoTrader.com, he has been a thought leader in big data, product strategy, business development, and the more recently, the formation of their behavioral targeting and audience analysis capabilities.

The mission at AutoTrader.com is to be the ultimate online solution for buying and selling new, certified and used cars. The site is designed to give users more control of the buying process and make finding a vehicle easier than ever before. Thomas has started a number of technology companies, however, have found my years at AutoTrader.com to be the most rewarding.  His focus is on Business Development and Product Development focus in online advertising within the Automotive vertical.

 

He has been expanding AutoTrader Group’s capabilities in Behavioral Targeting, Personalization, Audience Data Management, Advertising Attribution and Audience Analytics through acquisitions, partnerships and research and development. He has been most interested in technologies that supports AutoTrader’s value proposition while also creating efficiencies in the marketplace for dealerships and OEM’s.
Thomas has recently been acquiring or developing solutions that observe consumer behavior across multiple websites, and then targeting these shoppers through display, SEM, DMP/DSP, call tracking or website personalization and recommendations technologies.
